The Director General of  Ademola Adeleke campaign group, Akogun Lere Oyewunmi has described the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare the Osun governorship election inconclusive as unfortunate.

He said the decision was an attempt  to  deny the people of the state the liberation they have been yearning for in the last eight years.

Oyewunm told Bounce News on Sunday that based on the election results, INEC should have declared the PDP candidate, Adeleke as the winner.

"It was a wrong decision on the part of INEC to have declared Saturday's voting exercise as inconclusive.

"Our candidate, Ademola Adeleke won the election and should have been declared winner as stipulated in the constitution."

He accused the electoral commission of playing a script in its decision to declared the election inconclusive.

He, however, expressed optimism that Adeleke will still win the election when it is concluded on Thursday.

He said that the result showed that the people of the state have rejected the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),.

"We  would still win when the rerun is conducted on Thursday.

"PDP is the only party that visited all the wards in the state during the electioneering campaigns.

@We are not afraid of of the rerun. Adeleke will always defeat the APC  anytime , anyday.
