The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has put up an evidence of its claims that the election result from Aiyedaade Local Government Area of Osun State was manipulated, with its candidate robbed of 1,000 votes.

After a man was allegedly caught removing the result sheet posted on a notice board, the PDP shared an image of the suspect, with the papers in his hands.

The party shared the picture on its Twitter page, insisting that the result was reduced by the man whose name it also gave.

He was identified as , Alao Mutiu Kolawole, and the party claimed that he was an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The PDP also claimed that he confessed that he was ordered to do the dirty job by her boss, Mrs Aderinoye.

The party wrote: "We had raised the alarm that Aiyedaade LGA Official result as declared by the INEC at the polling units was manipulated and results reduced by 1,000 votes at the collation centre. In an attempt to cover up, INEC ordered this man to remove the results.

INEC had declared the election inconclusive, insisting that the number of invalid votes were more than the margin between the leading candidate, Mr Ademola Adeleke of the PDP and the candidate of the APC Gboyega Oyetola.
