The former Secretary to the State Government of Osun, Moshood Adeoti has returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adeoti who was the candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Saturday’s governorship election in the state resigned in July after he fell out of favour with the party after the governorship primaries that produced Gboyega Oyetola as the party’s flagbearer for the September 22 election.

The former SSG returned to the progressives after hours of reconciliatory meetings with the APC National Campaign Team for the Osun Governorship election led by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.

Others at the meeting were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Ekiti Governor-Elect, Kayode Fayemi, , Governor of Jigawa, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar,  Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, Senator Bayo Salami and other members of the high powered Federal Government Delegation.

Adeoti came fourth in the election and he is believed to be a factor in Thursday's rerun election.
