#OsunDecides2018: INEC Begins Collation Of Rerun Election Results
Voting has ended in the Osun governorship election rerun and collation of results has started at the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osogbo the capital of the state.
Again media representatives, party agents and officials of the electoral body are already at the venue which had a similar scene on Saturday when the first leg of the election held.
The Peoples Democratic Party was leading with a slim margin over the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
There have been reports of abuse of voter's rights in the rerun process, with the candidate of the PDP Ademola Adeleke, already rejecting the result of the election even before INEC announced it.
Officials of INEC at the collation venue began by reeling out figures announced on Sunday before it declared the election inconclusive.
The Nigeria Police Force has also been accused of highhandedness in handling in treatment of voters.
Figures from today's poll will be added to earlier results.
Supporters of the PDP were teargassed while they approached the office of the electoral body where the collation of result is taking place.
