The governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), in Saturday's Osun State governorship election, Moshood Adeoti has rejected offers to step down from the race.

Adeoti was approached by both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Social Democratic Party(SDP) to step down for their candidates.

APC offered him the senaorial seat of Osun West and N200million to step down for its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola.

The SDP was said to have also offered him some juicy positions if it wins the governorship seat.

Adeoti has, however, rejected the offers.

Adeoti stated this in a press release signed by his media aide, Kayode Agbaje and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital on Friday.

According to Adeoti, “the thought to surrender the ADP members’ mandate freely given to him has never occurred to him.”

Adeoti said that, “he is still very much in the race with the determination to win and take the state to the next level of physical development and economic prosperity.”

He said that he is in the, ”governorship race with the determination to win and take the state to the next level in terms of physical development and economic prosperity for all”.

Adeoti admonished the party members in the state to shun the rumour and get focused on victory for the party tomorrow.
