#OsunDecides2018: 'Adeleke Too Weak To Speak On Outcome' - PDP
It was a packed out hall and everyone was expecting the man of the moment and Osun state governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Ademola Adeleke to address the audience.
But most people were left disappointed after they were informed that Adeleke was 'too weak' to speak to the crowd.
The chairman of the party in the state, Soji Adagunodo who addressed the crowd, said the party is rejecting the outcome of the election as declared by the Independent Nigeria Electoral Commission (INEC).
He stated that the declaration that the election was inconclusive was pre-planned by INEC and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
He said, "We want to call the attention of Nigerians to the reality to the plot to declare the election inconclusive was pre-planned and orchestrated by INEC and in collaboration with APC.
"APC agents and security personnel deliberately attacked the polling units at Orolu, Ife north, Ife south and Osogbo which are PDP strongholds. It was to prepare ground for their inconclusive election.
He accused the returning officer of deliberately failing to correct their complaints of arithmetic errors and gross irregularities in Ife East, Ilesa East, Osogbo, Olorunda, Ayedaade and Boripe Local Governments.
"We therefore condemned in strongest possible terms the undemocratic conduct of INEC. The decision is illegal, absurd, abnormal and a condemnable trampling on the wishes of Osun people."
