One of the aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State have filed another case against the candidate of the party in the September 22nd gubernatorial election in the state, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

The plaintiff, Olagboye Adedamola is seeking an interlocutory injunction to restrain Adeleke from parading himself as the candidate of the Osun PDP over the issues of his school certificates.

He also sought order of the court to restrain the Chairman of Osun PDP,  )Soji Adagunodo and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC from further recognising Adeleke as the candidate of the party.

He sought order mandating Osun PDP Chairman and INEC to replace Adeleke's name with that of Akin Ogunbiyi, the runner up in the party's primary election.

Plaintiff claimed that Adeleke's paraded forged documents purportedly to be proof of his academic qualifications.

He made reference to documents titled "Statement of Result" which was issued by Ede Muslim Grammar School presented as an exhibit at the Court.

An Osogbo High Court presided over by Justice David Oladimeji had earlier dismissed a similar case against Adeleke in which the judge said the constitution does not require him to pass secondary school election to qualify to contest.

The judge in his ruling noted that the documents presented by Adeleke contained serious damaging errors, adding that that could be addressed separately since the plaintiffs did not include it in their prayers.
