Ten members of the state executive council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State have dumped the party.

They have officially joined the Action Democratic Party (ADP).

The affected party officers are Azeez Issa Adesiji (Deputy State Chairman; Tajudeen Agbeti (Ex Officio); Ademola Bamidele (State Auditor); Rasheed Bakare (Asst Gen Sec) and  Morakinyo Akintola (State PRO).

Others are: Wole Adunola (Ex Officio ); Bakare M. Idayat (Asst Welfare Secretary); Ogundare Aina Afolabi (Asst PRO) and Sikiru Karim (Asst Treasurer).

The party officials in the letter of resignation jointly signed and addressed to the Chairman of the party in the state, Gboyega Famodun, said that they took the decision after due consultation.

They accused Famodun of being a stooge to few individuals who allows personal interest to override the wishes of the majority.

Bounce News gathered that the affected officers are loyalists of the former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Moshood Adeoti.

Adeoti resigned his appointment about two week ago and joined the ADP after losing the APC governorship primary.

Adeoti, who announced his withdrawal a day before the primary, eventually scored 128 votes.

He has since secured the ADP's ticket for the September 22 governorship election.
