The result of Osun governorship election has not been declared and Nigerians are waiting.

Results from the 30 local government areas in Osun State have been collated at the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, but Nigerians have not received the final result.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has posted results announced so far and has declared that it won the election.

In the premises of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and in the collation hall, things appeared to have been put on hold, while Nigerians await the result.

While the wait continues, the Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has issued an advice to the electoral body and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

"APC and INEC; my advise is DON'T test the people's will," he says.

There appears to be some controversies arising from the election and collation of result.

From claims of missing 1,000 votes of the PDP in a local council won by the APC and the inflation of another local council result by 2,000.

Nigerians are still waiting.
