Osinbajo Takes TraderMoni To Edo State
Traders in Edo State are about to benefit from the government's TraderMoni scheme that offers small loans to boost their business.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo arrived at the State's airport in Benin City on Saturday to inaugurate TraderMoni.
It is one of the Social Investment Programmes of the Federal Government that has been launched in some other states.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Osinbajo arrived the airport in a Nigerian Air Force Jet, 5N FUG at about 12.15 p.m.
The Vice President will also inaugurate a number of other projects done by the state government.
He was received by Gov. Godwin Obaseki, his Deputy, Philip Shuaibu and other All Progressives Congress(APC) party faithful.
His spokesman, Laolu Akande, said Professor Osinbajo would hold family chats, meet with youths & interact with a group of religious leaders.
The scheme will also be launched in Ekiti State on Monday, January 21st.
