Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has met with All Progressives Congress (APC) governors of Adamawa and Bauchi states, Jubrilla Bindow and Mohammed Abubakar, respectively at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Both governors are fighting for their political lives as they are trailing their Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) opponents in the March 9 gubernatorial election.

The APC has fallen behind in the results declared so far in the two states.

Even though the agenda of the meeting is not known, it is not unlikely that the supplementary election could be the subject matter.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Saturday, March 23 for the re-run elections in Adamawa, Bauchi, Kano, Sokoto, Benue and Plateau States.
