Public servants in Ondo state do not have a reason to complain about not having a Permanent Voters Card, PVC.

The Ondo State Government has declared today, Thursday, August 30, as a work-free day to enable public servants participate in the continuous voter registration exercise in the state.

This ‘holiday’ was announced in a statement by Yemi Olowolabi, the State Commissioner for Information, in Akure.

The continuous voter registration exercise, which was to have been suspended two weeks ago ahead of the 2019 elections, was extended till Friday August 31, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enable more people register.

The workers in Ondo State are expected to be back at work on Friday, August 31, 2018.
