The dust appears to be settling in the widely reported impasse between Nigerian midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi and his Turkish club, Trabzonspor.

Onazi, who was reported to have quit Trabzonspor after two months of unpaid wages, has rejoined the team in their pre-season preparations.

This latest development ends the speculations he will leave the club over unpaid wages.

Ayodele Makinwa, who is Onazi’s agent, confirmed that all is now well between his client and his Turkish club, Trabzonspor.

"He has resumed pre-season with Trabzonspor and the issue has been resolved. We just hope it does not reoccur again." Makinwa stated.

Onazi joined Trabzonspor on a four-year deal from Italian side Lazio last summer for a reported fee of €3.5m.

He scored twice and provided one assist in 38 games last season.
