Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo falls into the ‘special breed’ of players signed by Chelsea but with no single official appearance for the London club after four years.

It has been one loan move or the other for the Nigerian defender since his famous signing for the London club over five years ago and while reports are rife that the Blues are now finally ready to ship him out, Omeruo says it's a lie.

“I am going back to Chelsea for the pre-season tour to fight for a chance at the first team. A report that said I am quitting Chelsea is not true.” Omeruo stated while signing a deal with a talent management agency in Lagos to help grow his brand.

The Nigeria international who made 26 appearances for Alanyaspor and scored one goal last term in the Turkish Super Lig topflight division assured that his club future will be clearer in July.

"A decision will be made in July after my representatives meet with Chelsea. I can't say more than that," Omeruo replied when queried on his Chelsea future.

It is understood that Omeruo already has clubs waiting in the wings to poach him once he is let off the Bridge.
