Olamide Threatens To Expose Record Labels That Exploit Musicians
Nigerian music star, Olamide is after record labels who practice 21st-century slavery in Nigeria.
The YBNL boss said this on his Instagram page. He described some record labels as mere 21st-century slave houses that pose as business entities.
He accused such establishments of bringing artistes into their fold to cage them, instead of allowing them to flourish.
Although no label has been called out by Olamide, the ‘Motigbana’ rapper disclosed that he’s looking for a scapegoat.
He said he was raising the alarm because he feels no artiste should go through such slavery because of their craft.
This might have been the inspiration behind him recently signing two young rappers, Yomi Blaze and Picazo.
