Super Eagles have continued to enjoy the benefits of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The latest in the chain of sponsors of the Nigerian side has, is a company that produces tricycles also known as ‘keke marua’ and motorcycles aka ‘okada’. The company has penned a two-year deal.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), who said the deal was part of an effort to actively drive engagement and promotion of football at the grassroots, signed an agreement with the Simba Group, to make TVS the Official Motorcycle and Tricycle Partner of the Super Eagles.

“We are partnering with the Simba Group with the objective of truly taking football to the grassroots. Scores of millions of football –passionate Nigerians use the motorcycle and the tricycle, and this is a conscious effort to reach them with the message they love so much,” said NFF 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko, who represented President Amaju Melvin Pinnick, at a short ceremony on Monday.

“It is a two –year agreement, but our delight is that the Simba Group have committed to actively driving the engagement and promotion of the game at the grassroots. In return, they will have access to our programs and can also use the images of our National Team players on their cycles.”

The agreement was brokered by top sports marketer, Mr. Taye Ige of Hotsports Network.

Mr. El Hadji Seikh led the Simba Group team, which also included Amit Seth, Sandeep Rana, Surinder Pal Singh, Ravi Kumar and Afuye Olusola.
