No, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has not called off its strike, the schools have not resumed and some neighbours may be wondering why some girls were returning to school.

The girls, who have since left school with just few of their personal belongings, hoping that the strike will not last this long, heard the news that yahoo boys are on rampage, stealing panties in Ogun state.

Without wasting too much time, they are now returning to their hostels to pack their panties.

Public Universities students have been out of school due to the ongoing strike by ASUU, which has entered its third month.

According to Bounce News investigation, the girls who are students of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) and Federal University of Agriculture (FUNNAB) are making the move after gathering reports from indigenes who live in their streets that yahoo boys are burgling female hostels to steal pants.

A female undergraduate In the Micro Biology department in Funnab, Aminat Osho told Bounce News that she came from Ojota in Lagos where she resides with her parents to pack her pants and other valuables.

She revealed that she decided to take the step after some of her female course mates who live off campus informed her that their hostels have been burgled by unknown hoodlums.

Another female undergraduate, Anita Ogochie, a student of Botany at the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye said some of the female indigenes in the town called to inform her that some of the hostel around her street have been burgled by unknown people who went away with cloths and underwear.

She said houses spared by the people believed to be yahoo boys were those where students live with the indigenes.
