Has former President Olusegun Obasanjo taken the coalition movement to Otuoke?

In case you don't know, Otuoke is the hometown of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Both past leaders met on Friday at Jonathan's residence.

After the meeting, Dr. Jonathan shared images of Dr. Obasanjo and himself on his Facebook page, but gave no futher information as to why the man that handed over to his administration led by late Umaru Yar'Adua visited.

Dr. Obasanjo has been busy of late, taking the message of hope around Nigeria after he wrote to President Muhammadu Buhari, asking him to drop any ambition to run for a second term in office by 2019.

He had declared the birth of a coalition he christened, the 'Coalition for Nigeria Movement' and had gone to a few states to ignite the fire of the movement.

It is not clear if that was his reason for visiting Goodluck Jonathan to draw him into the coalition which he said could become a political if members so decide in future.

He had, however, insisted that at that point, he would cease to be a member of the coalition, standing on his decision not to be in active politics or take side with any political party.

At the meeting was Mrs Patience Jonathan whom many Nigerians have not seen that much since 2015 after the All Progressives Congress won her husband who was seeking a second term.
