It was all sealed lips after national leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu and the former Interim National Chairman, APC, Chief Bisi Akande met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.

Both leaders who arrived presidential Villa at 3:50pm, left from the President’s official residence at 4:50pm.

Their meeting came few hours after former president Olusegun Obasanjo, in a blistering and excoriating 13-page statement said Buhari has performed below expectation and should not to seek re-election in 2019.

Tinubu and Akande walked straight into their waiting cars, without speaking to state house correspondents.

The meeting is believed to be in continuation of Buhari's wider consultation before he declares his intention to seek re-election in 2019.

Buhari had in the last one week held series of meetings with several party leaders to discuss party affairs.

At the time of this report, the presidency is yet to comment on Obasanjo’s speech.
