Davido may not be passing out anytime soon after his service year was reportedly cancelled by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

A source in the NYSC  disclosed that the management cancelled Davido’s service year for “absconding” from the camp during the orientation camp.

Bringing an end to the participation of the DMW boss in the 2018 Batch ‘B’ Stream II in Lagos State, where he had been posted.

“He was away from the camp without permission, and this prompted NYSC to issue him a query which was sent from Abuja. So, he is no longer a serving corps member," the source disclosed.

Davido was accused by the source of violating many of the scheme’s regulations.

The charges brought against the 'Assurance' crooner includes: bringing vehicles into the orientation camp; disclosing official information; engaging in private practice; taking part in partisan politics and reporting late for duty.
