The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) says its portal is open for on-line registration by foreign and locally trained Nigerian Graduates. 

It will be open for registration for 7 days, from 8:00 a.m. on July 10 to 16. 

A statement on Monday by the NYSC management said “all Nigerians who have graduated from universities and mono/polytechnics both at home and abroad are to register for the mobilisation".

In the statement, the NYSC also provided further guidelines to assist prospective corp members with their registration.

“Applicants are advised to have a functional e-mail address and mobile number to ease the registration process and also to be maintained throughout the service year.

“Such e-mail address and phone numbers must be maintained throughout the service year.

“For locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear on the senate/academic board approved result lists submitted by their institutions will have access to register on the NYSC portal.

“Foreign-trained prospective corps members should note that only those that graduated from accredited institutions are qualified for mobilisation.

“Any foreign-trained prospective corps member who is in doubt of the accreditation status of his/her institution should approach the federal ministry of education for verification,” the NYSC statement posted on Facebook further read.

The NYSC urged prospective corps members to always check their dashboard and emails for updates and vital Information.

One other thing the Corps wants prospective members to also know is that it does not have any " WhatsApp Group"
