Nigeria Professional Football club, Sunshine Stars FC have confirmed that one their top forwards, Ekundayo Ojo will continue to defend the Orange and Blue colours after signing a new deal with the Club.

Ojo and the Akure-based club formalised the new and improved one-year deal in the days leading up to the New Year following protracted negotiations.

Sunshine Stars media officer, Chris Okunnuwa in a press statement said both parties had sorted all the knotty issues before the end of the initial deal meant to expire in December 2017.

With the new deal, Sunshine Stars FC, Ojo and his family hope all the rumours about the player's future will be laid to rest for once.

Ojo was key to Sunshine Stars last season as they fought bravely to beat the drop from the elite division to the Nigeria National League.
