The Olukoya Boys are gradually clawing their way or better still praying their back to reckoning in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Following their 1-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah on Sunday in Agege, MFM FC are now just two points adrift of table toppers, Plateau United in the Nigeria Professional Football League standings.

Adebayo Waheed scored the only goal that gave MFM FC the vital win they craved for as they have now taken their points tally to 37 from 22 games.

On their part, Plateau United stay on 39 points from same number of games having been condemned to defeat in Calabar against Enyimba international.

Enugu Rangers were the only odd team in Sunday’s games as they could only manage a 1-1 draw against Nasarawa United.

In all the other Match Day 22 games, the home teams secured maximum points.

The trio of Kano Pillars, ABS FC and Wikki Tourist won their games by a 2-1 margin on Sunday while Shooting Stars and Kastina United were contented with 1-0 wins over Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors respectively.

Like we say, the NPFL - DARE TO WIN AWAY FROM HOME!
