Seven-time Nigerian league champions, Rangers International F.C bashed Enugu armature side, Dave More F.C 6-0 in a practice match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu ahead of the resumption of the NPFL.

Playing before an appreciative crowd of supporters, coach Olugbenga Ogunbote fielded a very strong starting team that immediately went in search of early goals that took time to come.

Ajani Ibrahim then set up Bright Silas to add his name on the score sheet on 38 minutes with Aguda grabbing his brace on the stroke of half time as he was set up by Chiamaka Madu.

At the start of the second stanza, Coach Ogunbote introduced fresh legs and youth prodigy, Ifeanyi Okoro and left footed midfield maestro, Salau Ibrahim.

The duo compounded the woes of the armature side with more goals in the 50th and 55th minutes.

Dave More F.C coach blamed the heavy loss on the state of mind of his wards stressing that they were disorganized with the shift in the match day.

Rangers will travel to Owerri for a friendly match date at the weekend with ‘Oriental Warlords’, Heartland F.C at the Dan Anyiam stadium as both teams continue to prepare for the re-start of the 2017/2018 NPFL season.
