NPFL: Rangers Coach Optimistic Ahead Of New Season
The Technical Adviser of seven-time Nigeria league champions, Enugu Rangers International F.C, Coach Olugbenga Ogunbote is a happy man at the moment.
According to the well-respected gaffer, his expectations from his wards are almost complete.
Rangers recorded two wins in a day over two Lagos amateur sides on Wednesday, inside the main bowl of Dipo Dina stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
Coach Ogunbote made this remarks after the second match of the day which his side won 6-0 against Rising Stars of Lagos after another set of players had worked very hard to overcome Cityfut Current F.C of Gbagada, Lagos, 2-0 earlier in the day.
“I must say that we are almost there with regards to what is expected of us as the season approaches. Like I have said earlier, the result does not really matter at this point but the way we play is what I am talking about. I have that strong belief that before the start of the season, all we expect from the players shall be in place,” stated the much-travelled gaffer.
More pre-season practice matches are on line for the Coal City landlords as coach Ogunbote and his assistants work round the clock to re-launch the Enugu side back to the continent.
