Heartland FC of Owerri are back with the big boys in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

They have made a return to the NPFL after spending one season in the Nigeria National League.

The Naze Millionaires sealed their return to the elite division on Wednesday following a 1-0 away win over First Bank of Lagos.

The all-important goal that moved Heartland back to the Premier cadre was scored by Okoro Ndukwe.

With one game in hand, Heartland enjoy a five-point cushion with 60 points from 31 games.

Captain of the Super Eagles, John Obi Mikel's brother, Ebele is the goal keeper for Heartland and he was quite instrumental to the promotion of the Oriental giants.
