Coach of Abia Warriors FC, Abdullahi Usman Biffo has warned his players not to be carried away with the 4-2 away victory recorded against Lobi Stars in the week 33 game of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Abia Warriors put an end to Lobi Stars’ 80 home games unbeaten run dating back to 2013 after two goals from Sunday Adetunji and one each from Anthony Okemmiri and Chinenye Agoha rendered Kingsley Eduwo's brace less important.

Biffo, while addressing the players, told them to consolidate on the achievement by performing better in their subsequent matches instead of thinking they have arrived.

"We thank the Almighty God for the victory which has reduced the pressure on us but we also have to note that we are still not completely safe so we continue to battle.

“Instead of celebrating the victory too much, we should consolidate on it and try as much as possible to do well in our subsequent matches", Biffo told his boys.

He reminded his players that the Nigeria Professional Football League is so competitive that at this level, one point could be very precious, insisting they cannot afford to disappoint the government and good people of Abia State whom he said have shown so much love.
