Protesters took to the streets on Wednesday to voice their displeasure over the proposed No NGO Bill.

It is believed the National Assembly is planning to pass the No NGO Bill.

The bill, if passed, will regulate activities of Non-Governmental Organisations in Nigeria.

The protesters from various Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) stormed the Assembly on Wednesday to kick against the passage of the bill.

A public hearing was held in Abuja concerning the bill.

The bill seeks to, among others, create an NGO Regulatory Commission to regulate NGO’S and civil society organisations, CSOs.
