Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr is looking ahead to better days for the Nigeria national team.

The gaffer says he will not be putting forward any excuse to justify Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat to Serbia but instead he has charged his players to learn from their mistakes and move on.

Rohr refused to blame goalkeeper Francis Uzoho or any other player for any of the goals conceded, which came four days after Nigeria defeated Poland 1-0.

"We don’t blame any individual over our loss. As a team we are collectively responsible for whatever result we get.

"Win, lose or draw. Serbia did very well to win the game. Congratulations to them. There are areas we need to work on in our team, and we have seen them over the two games.

"Hopefully we will have them sorted our before we play in the World Cup later in the year. You expect to see mistakes in friendly games, and make corrections in competitive games."

The Super Eagles still have three more test matches before they head to Russia for the 2018 World Cup.
