Usually, FEC meeting holds on Wednesdays at the council chamber, but this one is coming a day earlier.

In December, 2018 a special FEC session was convened on a Friday for the consideration and approval of 2019 budget proposal.

During the inauguration of the technical advisory committee on the implementation of the new national minimum wage, the President had said that his government is working on the final steps that will lead to the submission of a National Minimum Wage Amendment Bill to parliament.
