Nigerian female boxing superstar, Helen ‘Iron Lady’ Joseph has her sights on winning a world title.

The 'Iron Lady', who has since relocated to the United States to move closer to her dream, says she is not resting on her oars as she seeks to give credence to the famous saying that 'what a man can do a woman can also do; sometimes do better.'

Joseph has seven KOS’s and she’s looking to make her dream come true in her New Haven base in the U.S. state of Connecticut.

Speaking with WTHN.com, the 32-year-old said she is focused and determined to make her mark in professional boxing.

“My goal right now is to be a world champion. That’s been my dreams and I’m working towards it right now,” said Joseph.

“I keep working because I believe one day I will be in the midst of the champion. And I don’t want to be the last person that’s why I sacrifice. Everyday, working hard.”

The Iron Lady recently made a strong case for another crack at the world title with a devastating round two knockout victory over Australian, Shannon O’Connell at the Famous Fortitude Gym, Newstead, Queensland in Australia late last month.
