Edirin Okoloko has a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Benin in Nigeria but took his career to another level when he moved to the US.

There he obtained another law degree from the Seattle University School of Law.

After years of practice in the states, he has now been rewarded with a new appointment by the Governor of Washington state, Jay Inslee.

Okoloko was in September made a judge in the Snohomish County Superior Court of the state to replace Judge George Bowden who is retiring.

Before his latest stride, he has worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

He has successfully prosecuted four murder trials and a notable number of jury trials.
