Nigerian Pastor Accused Of Sexually Molesting Church Members In South Africa
Tim Omotoso claims he was called by God to lead his people out of sin and into prosperity.
But it seems he may have bitten more than he can chew.
The leader of the Jesus Dominion International Church in Durban‚ is accused of molesting more than 30 young girls on the pretext of rescuing them from drugs.
The girls accused him of luring them into his house to poke them.
The Nigerian evangelist came under scrutiny after his church featured on current affairs programme Special Assignment on Sunday.
The programme spoke to women who claimed that they were lured into performing sexual favours for the pastor.
Omotoso has been in hiding, but police are confident he'll be behind bars soon.
There was speculation that Omotoso might hand himself over to the Hawks in Port Elizabeth on Thursday‚ but this could not be confirmed.
