Nigeria's youth international Sadiq Umar was the hero for Roma in Friday's friendly match as he got the only goal that helped the Italian giants to 1-0 win over Slovacko.

Umar had failed to score in Roma’s previous friendly on Tuesday, when they defeated Pinzolo 8-0.

But he made his presence count this time as he got his name on the score sheet after coming off the bench in the 46th minute for Diego Perotti. 30 minutes later he struck gold!

The 20-year-old striker spent the 2016/17 season out on loan at Serie A club Bologna.

During his spell at Bologna, he made only seven league appearances without netting a single goal.

Roma reportedly paid 1.5 million Euros when they signed Umar from Italian Serie B side Spezia at the end of the 2015/16 season.
