Coach Kelechi Emeteole who was recently diagnosed of the Cancer of the throat is making progress in his battle to stay alive.

Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo is reported to have given the ailing coach a reason to smile with a kind donation of N2m to augment his treatment.

Former Nigeria international, Dosu Joseph revealed the donation made by the on-loan Chelsea defender.

It is not the first time Omeruo will be gracefully offering a helping hand as he was also on hand to make a donation to the Super Falcons while they were protesting the nonpayment of their allowance after their triumph at the last Africa Women’s Nations Cup in Cameroon.

As previously reported by Bounce News, it is understood that Emetole now breathes with the aid of a pipe attached to his neck and needs surgery to save his life as soon as possible.

According to his wife, a hospital in Delhi India demanded $11,000 for the procedure but a Nigerian professor in Enugu says about N2m will do the job.

For others ready to emulate the kind gesture Omeruo, they can still send their donations directly to coach Emetole though his UBA account, 1007868369.
