Nigerian-Born Actress Will Be In Another Marvel Role After 'Black Panther'
After Nigerians got 'played' over Funke Akindele-Bello being a part of Avengers: Infinity Wars, there was one consolation - a Nigerian actress was actually a part of the Marvel Universe, and starred in Black Panther.
The Nigerian born, UK film star, Sope Aluko had a role in Black Panther.
Following her role as the shaman - a Wakandan spiritual leader who works alongside Zuri (Forest Whitaker), Sope Aluko has now been cast in another highly anticipated superhero movie; ''Venom''.
The upcoming Spiderman spin-off is based on the iconic Marvel Comics character of the same name, ''Venom''.
It follows Eddie Brock (played by Tom Hardy), the host of an alien symbiote that gives him superhuman powers.
Even though Aluko's role has not yet been disclosed, ''Venom'' is set to be in cinemas on October 5.
