#NigeriaDecides2019: One Dead As Ballot Box Snatching Rocks Kogi
Suspected thugs have killed a voter, Daniel Usman, at a polling unit in Anyigba, Dekina local government area of Kogi state.
The rampaging armed thugs stormed Ajetachi polling unit in Anyigba in four buses.
It was gathered that they fired gunshots indiscriminately to scare voters away before carting away voting materials when the victim was shut.
Sadly, the slain Daniel took to his Facebook timeline yesterday to preach against electoral violence.
"Vote and not fight ! Respect yourself and stay out of trouble. God bless Nigerian," he counseled.
The suspects was said to be working for one of the two leading political parties .
Already, the Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, Hakeem Busari, has confirmed the killing of this voter at a polling unit in Anyigba Dekina Local Government Area of the state.
Meanwhile, there are reports of violence and ballot snatching all over Anyigba.
Commenting on the spate of violence across Anyigba, Safiya Musa alleged that voting took place in two polling units in the University town.
Giving an account, she said "Anyigba, 18 polling units ballot boxes destroyed, 9 polling units ballot boxes snatched and thumb printing is on going at ward collation centre by APC thugs.
Voting happening only in two polling units," she alleged.
In Igalamela-Odolu local government, the House of Assembly candidate of PDP, Hon. Friday Sani Makama was reportedly abducted by unknown gun men.
