Meanwhile as voting continues, residents in Gombe metropolis who had casted their votes went about their normal activities just as security operative patrol the streets.

However, some pockets of polling units in Gombe North senatorial district are being faced with challenges of shortage of ballot papers and card reader failure.

Hassana Ahmed yusuf is one of such voters, who had moved from Magaji Runbudi polling unit to Bello Doma’s, Gombe Science Secondary School and was later asked to go to Jekada fari Primary School to cast her vote.

She lamented the hardship of locating her voting point.

“I have gone around almost all these polling units and could not still find my voting point. I live in Pantami quarters and Bello Doma used to be where I vote in the past but now that has been changed,” she said.
