Nigeria's President and candidate of the APC in Saturday's presidential election, Muhammadu Buhari has cast his vote.

The president, who is seeking a 2nd term was along aide his wife, Aisha as he cast his ballot in his home town, Daura, Katsina state.

Buhari spoke confidently about his chances refusing to tolerate the thought of accepting defeat after the polls are collated.

"I am sure I would win today. The people will decide. Our party is quite confident of victory", he said.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar is yet to arrive at his polling unit.

Our correspondent in Yola, the Adamawa state capital says his supporters and other loyalists have already arrived at the polling unit.

The former Vice President could possibly be facing his final attempt to claim the top job after beginning his quest to be president in 1993.
