The job of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Edo State will surely be a tedious one if voting will hold as scheduled.

They will have to buy time by Saturday, February 16, to be able to meet the scheduled timing of election in the state.

As at midnight of Friday, the score sheet to be used in the state was not among materials that were at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) office in the state.

The situation had cast a shadow of uncertainty on the election, with rumours that the INEC may not meet up with the requirement.

Distribution of electoral materials are first made to the CBN headquarters in different Nigerian states, before onward distribution to local government councils and then to other locations.

While in other states, distribution of materials has started, nothing has left the CBN office in Benin City as at Friday night.
