After the warm reception that greeted Nigeria’s debut appearance at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang earlier this year more people are going into Winter sports.

The Bobsled & Skeleton Federation of Nigeria on its official twitter handle announced the new additions to the sports.

The BSFN wrote: “HAPPY 58TH B-DAY NIGERIA! ???? As our gift to you, we announce the addition of a MEN'S BOBSLED TEAM to BSFN! ?? Please join us in welcoming Osazee Ulamen, Elias Schernig, & Aaron Schernig.”

Also, Simi Adeagbo who represented Nigeria in the Skeleton event unveiled her new teammates.

The Federation wrote: “Lead by returning Olympic Skeleton athlete, Simidele Adeagbo, we are pleased to announce the women of BSFNs teams! Linda Okoro (@linokoro) will pilot our women's bobsled team, while April Young (@a_obiyoung) will join @simisleighs in skeleton competition! LET THE WINTER BEGIN!”
