The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be up against Serbia at the home ground of Barnet football club – The Hive on Tuesday night.

The Hive is already being termed the Super Eagles' 'home ground' in London as Nigeria also played a friendly at this same venue at about this time last year against Senegal.

But what do you know about the stadium that will host the battle of Eagles between Nigeria (Super Eagles) and Serbia (The Eagles)?

1-The stadium is a 5,176-capacity ground in Canons Park in the London Borough of Harrow on the former site of the Prince Edward Playing Fields.

2-Aside it being the home to Barnet, London Bees of the FA WSL also host games there.

3-With a capacity of 2,684, the West Stand is the largest stand at the Hive. Within the stand, there is a bar where you will be able to purchase refreshments throughout the course of the day. But don’t bet on seeing Nigerian delicacies there.

4-The South Terrace is for fans hoping to watch the modern game in an old-fashioned way! With a capacity of 871, it offers the only standing option in the stadium. So, Super Eagles fans willing to rock and sing loudly and sing proudly know where to be.

5-The record attendance at the stadium is 5,233 fans (57 above official capacity at the time, as terrace capacity restriction was relaxed for this game), for Barnet 2-0 win against Gateshead on April 25, 2015. The result earned Barnet promotion to League Two.

6-For fans hoping to see the game live, Canons Park (400m) and Queensbury (600m) are the nearest tube stations to the Hive.

Both are on the Jubilee line. Journey times take approximately 25 minutes to Baker Street and 35 minutes to London Bridge. Bus routes 79, 186, 288 and 340 all serve the stadium.

And for those living close by, Edgware at the end of the Northern Line is around 25 minutes’ walk away.

7-On March 25, 2015, the Hive hosted its first international game as England U20 drew 1-1 with Mexico U20.
