For the next three months, you would be able to ride for free the newly inaugurated standard gauge Lagos-Abeokuta rail.
According to the Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC a test run would commence on the rail service on Saturday and would last for for three months.
Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, said this during the official test running of the rail project in Abeokuta.
Amaechi said that the free train ride would start on Saturday February 9 (today) to convey passengers from Lagos to Abeokuta.
“The train will run free from Lagos to Abeokuta where people can join it from Iju station.
“This is the third standard gauge in the country, the first is in Warri-Itakpe, the Kaduna Abuja and the ongoing Lagos-Ibadan line.
