The three points from Friday’s 2018 World Cup qualifying game against Cameroon are crucial to the Super Eagles.

Coach Gernot Rohr has already been praised for getting it right in the choice of players invited for the double header against the Indomitable Lions.

The Franco-German tactician now needs to get his Starting XI and formation right.

In this regard Bounce Sports suggests of a formidable line-up that would make sure the Lions are caged in Uyo.

Super Eagles starting XI

Ikechukwu Ezenwa has already gotten the nod to man the post for Friday’s clash. The FC Ifeanyi Ubah shot stopper has been understudying in the Super Eagles for quite sometime and finally he has the chance to prove himself.

The quartet of Leon Balogun, William Troot Ekong are expected to man the center defense while Echiejile is on the left and Shehu Abdulahi takes the right back position since Ola Aina is yet to get cleared by FIFA to play for Nigeria.

The engine room of the team should have Mikel and Onazi in the middle while Etebo and Moses are on the right and left flanks respectively.

The attacking pair of Odion Ighalo and Kelechi Iheanacho should strike fear in the minds of the Cameroonians.
