The Lagos State government knows that children need to have fun.

There is a new fun spot within the Lagos metropolis - it's called the Johnson, Jakande, Tinubu (JJT) Park located in Alausa.

Make sure your child is part of this new recreational centre.

For parents in Lagos who would want to take their children there, it is located in front of the State House of Assembly and a few metres away from Lagos House.


Built in honour of three former Governors of Lagos State - Brigadier Mobolaji Johnson Rtd, Lateef Jakande and Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu – the park occupies a total land area of approximately 21,880sqm.

It has among other facilities two waterfalls, a children’s playground and free Wi-Fi access.

So, for parents who bring their children there, they can maintain online presence with the wireless service available.

At the opening ceremony, the General Manager of the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK), Bilikis Adebiyi-Abiola, said the park aside being strategically located showcases the State Government’s resolve to make parks available for recreation, relaxation and social events.

She said it is also a testament that Governor Ambode has placed a high premium on the quality of life of Lagosians.
