Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has been rated among 30 best players in the English Premier League 2017/2018 season.

According to the Sky Sports' Power Rankings, Ndidi, who plays for Leicester City, emerged the 23rd best player in the EPL with 41,985 points, rated above Liverpool’s Sadio Mane (39,927), Chelsea duo of Willian (39,956) and Cesar Azpilicueta (41,474), and Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic (40,550).

Liverpool and Egypt striker, Mohamed Salah emerged the best EPL player according to the ranking, with 83, 752 points, followed by Kevin De Bruyne and Harry Kane.

Roberto Firmino, Romelu Lukaku, Raheem Sterling, David De Gea, Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard and Leroy Sane all made the list.

The power rankings work by assessing each player's performance with a complex system which analyses 32 different matchday stats.

Each position on the field is awarded a different number of points for their various achievements during the match.

The total points for each performance in the season are totted up to form the season rankings - and the players with the most points are enjoying truly incredible seasons.
