They are not the favourite of the ruling party, so they had to fight their way into the complex of the National Assembly.

While lawmakers of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) gained access through the back door, the lawmakers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had to push their way into the complex that is barely functional.

The entrance was blocked by personnel of the Department of State Services (DSS).

A Senator and member of the PDP, Ben Murray-Bruce, said it was a tough one for them getting access into the complex.

An emergency meeting had been scheduled for today by the leadership of the National Assembly, but the tension in the National Assembly is not letting that happen yet.
