This is really a Tuesday to remember.
Nigerians are talking... talking and funny statements are joining the deluge of comments pouring in on social networks.
It could not have been different, as supporters and party members are defending their own as event turns in Nigeria's politics.
The benefiting party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed its joy in the return of the lawmakers that were once members of the party.
It is a development that has given birth to a trend on Twitter - #TyrantBuhari.
Why? you may ask, but a few comments gathered from Nigerians will explain this.
Here are a few comments on this new trending hashtag.
One person that is sure to drop comments on the defection of lawmakers is the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
He also raised the issue of tyranny and wished 'lawmakers still supporting tyranny luck'.
I see an impending dawn of a new era in Nigeria. I see an impending defeat of tyranny.

God bless those patriotic NASS members, especially the Senate President.
To those of you still supporting this tyranny, I wish you luck.
A former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, also has something to say about the development. She wants Nigerians to stand up for democracy.
Hmm. Interesting .@Chxta . Interesting. So .@PoliceNG - OUR NATIONAL INSTITUTION is being DEPLOYED in a classic case of ABUSE OF POWER to achieve SUCH PURPOSE?

It WON’T WORK.
You ALL know my DISAPPOINTMENT with our NASS but WE as CITIZENS must STAND UP NOW FOR OUR DEMOCRACY. https://t.co/AXX9GFqqTJ
The NASS summoned the IGP months back on 3 different occasions, He Blatantly disregarded.

Now The same IGP as at 8pm 23rd July invited the Senate president to report at 8am 24th July..
And at 7am 24th July, his convoy was blocked enroute.

On Facebook people have also expressed their opinions about the defection of 15 APC Senators to PDP and then the defection of over 30 lawmakers from APC to the PDP in the House of Representatives.
Some persons who sounded like members of the APC expressed their grievance while others made a joke out of the development.
