More Revelations: Mercy Aigbe's Husband Claims She Is Mentally Unstable
The back and forth, claims and counter-claim, between Mercy Aigbe and her husband Lanre Gentry have not ended.
The hotelier has put forward more allegations against his ex-wife in a new interview after she got a restraining order against him.
Gentry is accusing his former wife of having mental issues.
"Mercy has mental issues and I am the one who knows how many places we’ve been to so she can remain stable. I have papers to prove these," he claimed.
In the interview, he alleged that Mercy Aigbe and her friends attacked him in her shop contrary to popular reports that he beat her up.
He claims Mercy Aigbe has been unfaithful in their marriage, narrating how Aigbe allegedly spent a week in Dubai with a man after saying she was going to China.
He showed BON several WhatsApp conversations to buttress his point.
"When I challenged my wife, she said she only wanted to collect money from him – a married woman!!! But I discovered that it was the same man that paid for the Magodo house she just moved to, which I also found out had been rented over a month ago" said Gentry.
“See, I understand Mercy’s antics too well. All she wants is to move out of my house and be free to live the life of a single woman. What I have tolerated from her all these years, no man can tolerate from any woman.
“I worship Mercy and I have deposited millions of Naira at Benefit Motors to buy her a 16 million Naira Range Rover Envouge for her 40th birthday. I have also paid 1.2 million for a hall opposite Sheraton Hotel to celebrate her big but she has her eyes on other things.”
On why Mercy Aigbe's family has not intervened in the marital mess, Gentry claimed that the star actress had no regard for her family including her father and mother.
On Thursday, a video of Mercy Aigbe on the day she packed out of her home surfaced.
Mercy filed a restraining order suit on April 25, 2017, against her husband, restraining order covers a one-mile radius.
