Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Agu has opened his goal scoring account with his Turkish club Bursaspor as he was among the goal scorers in Monday’s 3-1 win over Osmanlispor.

Agu scored the second goal in Monday’s match as 10-man Bursaspor came from a goal down to beat their stubborn opponents.

Also in action for Bursaspor was Agu’s Super Eagles teammate, William Troost-Ekong, while the Nigerian duo of Aminu Umar and Raheem Lawal were paraded by Osmanlispor.

Agu, who was on from the start and played for 90 minutes, scored in the 38th minute to put Bursaspor 2-1 ahead.

Bursaspor’s other goals were scored by Bogdan Stancu and Aziz Behich in the 30th and 75th minutes respectively.

Souleymane Doukara had given Osmanlispor the lead in the 23rd minute before Mikel Agu and his teammates rallied back to secure the crucial win.

The victory recorded by Bursaspor on Monday has seen them move to eighth spot on the log as they have now amassed 12 points from eight games.
